What to Expect
Ambassadors serve as the bridge between people, programs, and purpose across the organization. They help share information, build community, celebrate others, and turn engagement into meaningful action.
As an Ambassador, you will:

- Participate in quarterly professional development sessions designed to build leadership skills, strengthen communication, and expand your network.
- Support and promote events and programming within your division, department or area, helping foster connection and community.
- Contribute to a Community Impact Project—a collaborative effort that empowers ambassadors to leave a lasting, mission-driven impact on our organization.
Among these key initiatives, Ambassadors will:
- Share program updates, events, and opportunities with your office and team
- Gather feedback and insights from colleagues and help elevate their voices
- Welcome new members and encourage participation in shared experiences
- Help create inclusive spaces where employees feel engaged and supported
- Build skills in communication, leadership, and facilitation
- Highlight achievements, milestones, and everyday wins
- Help turn ideas, passion, and engagement into tangible outcomes

Programming, Events, & Recognition
Our Ambassadors play an active role in shaping meaningful programming throughout the year—across offsite locations, overnight shifts, and daytime teams. During our monthly meetings, we focus on professional development, collaborate on upcoming agendas, and discuss timely topics that matter to our community. These sessions help ensure our events and initiatives are accessible, relevant, and engaging for everyone, regardless of role, location, or schedule.
Beyond the meetings, Ambassadors support and participate in a variety of signature events, including:
- Health & Wellness Fair
- Proud to Be
- PAWS Ceremonies
- WOW Recognition
- Employee Appreciation Week
- Pumpkin Palooza
- Halls of Wreaths
Whether helping plan, promote, or show up in support, Ambassadors are key partners in bringing these experiences to life and fostering connection across all areas of our organization.
Community Impact Project
Each year, our Ambassadors lead a Community Impact Project that gives back and strengthens connections with the communities we serve. The focus is chosen together during monthly Ambassador meetings and has not yet been determined.
This summer initiative is important because it moves our mission beyond the workplace and into action. It provides an opportunity to build stronger relationships, uplift our local community, and demonstrate our shared commitment to service, inclusivity, and collective responsibility.
Potential initiatives include:
- Supporting local food pantries
- Helping grow and sustain a campus community garden
- Organizing environmental clean-up efforts
- Working to add Little Free libraries
The opportunities are endless, and we would love to hear what interests you to grow our community.
