Human Resources at UConn Health is committed to helping employees develop knowledge and skills they need to succeed. Our Online Learning Center, powered by the Saba Learning Management System, provides a convenient, centralized platform for learning and professional development.
The system supports UConn Health's mission by making it easy to access training opportunities, track progress, and complete required learning activities.
For Employees
The Online Learning Center offers a simple, self-service experience that allows you to:
- Browse and enroll in available courses
- Track your training history and completed learning activities
- Complete required compliance trainings
- Access learning resources anytime, anywhere

For Content Developers
Do you need to deliver training to a specific group of employees? The Online Learning Center makes it easy to create and assign courses through the Saba Learning Management System.
Courses can be assigned based on:
- Job title
- Department
- A combination of both
This allows for targeted training that reaches the right employees at the right time.
To add a course to the system, please send your trainings—including any post-test questions and assignment lists—to the Saba Administrator, Christopher Desjardins.
The course setup process typically takes approximately one week. During that time, you will be asked to review the course within Saba to confirm that all content, formatting, and assignments are accurate before it becomes available to learners.
If you have an idea for a course but need help developing it, our team is happy to assist. We can help you design training that incorporates current adult learning principles and best practices to ensure an effective learning experience.
